REPORT ON ANNUAL ACADEMIC EXHIBITION “ EMERGING ECHOES 2024” AT NMDC DAV RESIDENTIAL PUBLIC SCHOOL, DHANPUNJI, JAGDALPUR
The Annual School Academic Exhibition “ EMERGING ECHOES 2024” was held on 22nd October 2024, offering students a platform to showcase their innovative projects and research across various subjects. The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Chairman, LMC, NMDC DAV RPS, Dhanpunji, Hon’ble Shri K Praveen Kumar, who emphasized the importance of practical learning in fostering creativity and curiosity.
The exhibition featured eight departments:
1. Science Department: Highlights included working models of “Life Saving Model” Ground Water Recharge Model, Chandrayaan, Couple Model and DNA world, all capturing visitors interest.
2. Mathematics Department: Students demonstrated real-world applications of mathematical concepts, with a popular exhibit on “Pythagoras Theorem.”
3. Social Studies Department: Projects focused working models of Volcano, Water Purification and informative presentations.
4. English Department: Students showcased working models of Parts of Speech, Prepositions, Figures of Speech etc and displayed the evolution of language.
5. Hindi and Sanskrit Department: A complete explanation of Solar System in Sanskrit language by students left the visitors spell bound and stole the show. A working model on Sarvanaam, Matra Yantra and Shabd Nirman were commendable.
6. Art and Crafts: This section featured eco-friendly artworks made from recycled materials, promoting sustainability and a photobooth made and decorated for the exhibition caught everyone’s eyes.
7. Sports Department: The students prepared models of various sports events and also organized few fun games for the visitors which everyone enjoyed.
8. Music Department: Soulful welcome song sung by students accompanied by live music played on tabla and harmonium showcased an insight into the school’s effort in developing the talents of students thereby ensuring an overall personality development.
The exhibition was well-received by invited guests, students, parents, and teachers, who praised the high quality of work. The event concluded with an award ceremony recognizing the best projects. Overall, the exhibition encouraged critical thinking, teamwork, and a passion for learning.
